Mudroom lockers are the key to a clean house and well organized. If it is designed with space and shelves to manage what usually gets spilled and lost, you will have your house in order and sanity in the morning. Use nature of second-hand furniture to create an attractive entrance.
If the family needs extreme organization, build a bench along one entire wall of mudroom lockers, paneling against a support. Now separate the bench in the hall height individual lockers, one per family member, by bolting plywood flat arches in front of the bench and more precisely define spaces with plywood “walls” of the front wall of the vault, above and below the bench.
Paint the benches, paneling and the same color bows — bright white goes with everything and is easy to wipe clean. Inside mudroom lockers, attach to the wall anchors to hang jackets and cork tile adhesive to the side walls for memos and messages. Under each section of the bench, place a wooden box on wheels that easily treat Store shoes or bulky sports gear. For extra storage, you can build a high shelf within each domed upper part for the less commonly used items such as ice skates.
